From versatile smart day-to-evening and office wear, as well as elegant guest dresses. Drawing inspiration from her Greek roots, growing up in the fashion industry and combining all this with her background in tailoring and design, helped her give a strong emphasis on details, tailored design*, chic flattering style, quality and fit. It's accessible quiet luxury.

Our mission is sourcing select people to work with at every level of production and fabrics for that luxury feel and touch, so that we can create luxury feel, quality clothing and curated accessories for the modern busy woman, who doesn’t want to sacrifice budget to be stylish.

ROOTS

Brand founder and designer Yan Neophytou, was born into a passionate Greek family, having spent most of her life growing up and working in the fashion industry. Her father, a driven business man with a love of fashion together with her mother built a family business that would manufacture womenswear for the stores and sell globally. Yan grew up running around the design studio, where they designed, made samples and sometimes cut dockets to be sent out to factories in London. Her inspiration stemmed from her playing with fabrics, buttons, trimmings and sitting alongside the designers and drawing her creations.

THE JOURNEY

Being 2nd Generation in the fashion business led to Yan qualifying in tailoring and creative pattern-cutting at London College of Fashion, continuing on to complete her Fashion BA (Hons) degree at Westminster University. This gave her a deeper insight into the world of fashion, through her creativity and opportunities to work back stage at designer shows like Antonio Beradi, Marcus Lupfer and Julien Macdonald during London Fashion Week.

Eventually opening a successful North London boutique for nearly ten years, taking her on buying trips to Paris, Greece, Madrid and styling work for private clients.

 * The secret of tailoring

Tailoring doesn’t only apply to made-to-measure or suits and jackets, but involves the structure of any item so that it drapes, fits and flatters the body just right. Depending on the fabric, the item of clothing and of course the shape of the woman herself, this can involve darts, seams, shoulder pads, cups, panelling and even length to govern how the fabric falls and sits on the body. Expertise in this field is what gives Yan Neo emphasis to that attention to detail in her designs.
